Chef – Mikołaj Gilecki

Cooking is his greatest passion, which he already developed as a teenager. He has gained experience in, amongst others, renown restaurants in Sweden. He puts all his heart, talent as well as great culinary imagination in the preparation of each dish. He specialises in Polish cuisine, fusion cuisine and sous-vide methods.


The Filharmonia Restaurant embodies modern thinking about cuisine as a sum of sensations, flavours, aromas, textures and fresh seasonal products.  Original author’s menu, which invites restaurant guests to the world of fushion cuisine, is the speciality of the house.

Apart from the standard menu, Mikołaj Gilecki also offers his original seven-course tasting menu, to which sommeliers select the most refined wines. In 2016 prestigious Gault&Millau Guide awarded the Filharmonia with one toque. Authenticity in creation, imagination, passion and talent are of greatest importance here.
Guests have two summer terraces at their disposal: one situated on the building roof and the other on the edge of Ołowianka island from the side of Długie Pobrzeże (Long Waterfront). Both terraces offer breath-taking views of Gdańsk and numerous monuments, including the Crane („Żuraw”) or Sołdek museum-ship.
