The otwARTa

Excellent cuisine and ambitious art – this is the hallmark of the otwARTa Restaurant, located in the Garrison, Wrzeszcz. The interior has been decorated in a mix of Art Deco and modern elements of natural wood and grey colour, creating the image of Scandinavian elegance with a touch of trendy industrialism. Upon entering, guests are attracted to a large bar made of pressed copper. After a little while, you start to notice other interesting elements of the decor- sculptures hanging on the walls, pictures of Tricity artists and a well-equipped library.

The duck, lazy dumplings with smoked curd cheese, raw red cabbage

Price 45 PLN

Everyone knows how the duck tastes, but the duck at OtwARTa is a piece of modern art! The confit duck leg was cooked in a goose fat, and the duck breast was baked and then slightly fried. The flavour and aroma of lazy dumplings with smoked curd cheese  work really well with the taste of the meat. The dish is accompanied with a classic, but original red cabbage – served raw with a hint of anise. The whole composition will surprise you!

Beef tongue

Price 26 PLN

Tender, exquisite and full of flavour – this is how we can describe this dish. Excellent classic demi-glace gives its full and sweet flavour to the cauliflower puree. The beef tongue is amazingly silky and the dish is enriched by walnuts and fresh horseradish. It tastes a lot better than it looks!

In the cuisine of the otwARTa the attachment to the idea of slow food is visible– the chef Łukasz Kozyrski with passion reaches for carefully selected seasonal ingredients from local suppliers. There are also vegetarian and gluten-free dishes available, cakes baked on-site and home-made preserves. The menu changes seasonally, therefore new and original flavours always await the guests here.

The otwARTa also hosts numerous cultural events and meetings, e.g. live music Fridays and art shows.
