The Cultural Information Point is located at the City Culture Institute, Długi Targ Street 39/40. The Point offers detailed information about cultural events organised in Gdańsk and the Metropolis as well as materials advertising particular events. One can also read a book there or simply relax on comfortable pouffes.
The Cultural Information Point is addressed for the city inhabitants and tourists who want to find out what cultural events are organised in Gdańsk. Also in CIP you can receive issued by the City Culture Institute, cultural calendar "Włącz się!" including the whole Tricity cultural offer. There is also a cultural magazine SZTORM that appears as a suplement to Gazeta Wyborcza Tricity.
The City Culture Institute also cooperates with different institutions, which can distribute there their leaflets, brochures, posters, and other materials promoting cultural events. Additionally, if interested, the institutions can organise there conferences and meetings.
