The Sobieszewo Island (Sobieszewo) is a seaside district of Gdańsk located at 15 km from the city centre. It is one of 3 islands located on the Polish coast and the only Polish island which was created by human effort. Moreover, since 1994, the Sobieszewo Island enjoys the status of an ecological island, which guarantees that its ecosystem is good for people and satisfies their needs. The Island's natural features and its microclimate make it an ideal place for holidays.
