Daniel Chrzanowski is currently the chef at the Zafishowani. He had been in charge of the Kokieteria for three years and previously cooked, among others, in the Gdańsk restaurant Cico. He specialises in European cuisine with distinctive elements of regional cuisine. He participated in many culinary contests and won the title of Polish BBQ Champion.
Chef is able to enrapture guests with various versions of fish – from home-marinated, prepared with sous vide method (in low temperatures), roast to smoked ones. Each dish is prepared according to original recipes with the use of the finest seasonal ingredients.
Fresh fish plays the most important role here. The menu offers local species and more exotic types of fish, too. And so, in Zafishowani we will taste e.g. organic salmon tartare, crayfish soup with tomato concasse or turbot served with saffron and lemon sauce. Fanatic meat-eaters – don’t worry!
